This German style wheat beer is a traditional wheat with a twist; commissioned for exclusive sale at Honey Bear Restaurant. We took our Sweet As, and added toffee malt from Gladfield and locally-sourced honey. The honey is added mid-fermentation to maintain complexity and keep the honey flavour subtle to avoid it being overly sweet.
Crisp and refreshing like an iceblock on a hot summers day, Sticky Palms slips down your throat as easily as the icy juice drips down your fingers. NZ hops provide an assertive dry undercurrent to balance the fresh mango added to our delicious Pale Ale.
