This sessionable IPA is made with rakau hops and heaps of riwaka hops to give it a delightful passionfruit aroma and mandarin flavour. A good strong malt backbone finishes with notes of toffee and caramel.

Originally meant as a one-off special edition, this Raspberry Sour Wheat Beer proved so popular that we’ve brought it into regular seasonal rotation. Made with all NZ hops and malts, and wild organic raspberries, she’s a smooth drop with a cheeky finish that’ll leave you thinking she’s as pretty as she is tart.
A rhino chaser is a surfing term for a large surfboard made for chasing big waves. We used organic pilsner malt to give balance to the big citrusy aroma and flavour of the cascade hops. This light-bodied and easy to drink pale ale is the perfect refreshment after some big wave adventures.
This deliciously dark stout is full-bodied, smooth and bitter. Laced with hints of caramel and chocolate, with a touch of coffee to finish. Surprisingly easy to drink, even for dark beer naysayers.

Traditionally brewed in Cologne, it’s no surprise that our Pacific Style Kolsch has delicate floral aromas. A classic Kolsch recipe, delivering a clean and uncomplicated taste, medium bodied and with a soft mouthfeel. Invigorated with local NZ Moutere and Rakau hops, to add refreshing notes of orange blossom, balanced with a subtle malt biscuit finish.
Made with malt from the brewing process, this ginger beer has a strong ginger kick that’s backed up by cayenne pepper for some extra spice. Hints of cinnamon, clove and caramel help to balance the fiery heat of our local ginger.
This German style wheat beer is a traditional wheat with a twist; commissioned for exclusive sale at Honey Bear Restaurant. We took our Sweet As, and added toffee malt from Gladfield and locally-sourced honey. The honey is added mid-fermentation to maintain complexity and keep the honey flavour subtle to avoid it being overly sweet.

With a clean flavour profile designed to showcase our special Blue Fridge hops, complemented by pilsner malts, and and finishing on a crisp fruit note.
